SNT plough on through the snow

SNT are pleased to have been able to continue delivering courses even through some of the worst snow conditions this century. Our implementing IP multicast course was due to run with three delegates (yes we do run courses with low numbers) on the 2/2/09 - 4/2/09. Even though two of our delegates could not attend the course we still ran the course for the one delegate who had flown in from Scotland the previous night. One more happy customer - and the other two delegates get a free resit on the next running of the course.

Another two engineers pass the coveted LAIT 3 exam

Congratulations to the delegates from YAHOO and GYRON INTERNET in passing the LAIT 3 exam. The exam is tough - over half do not pass. The exam tests knowledge in a number of Internet related technologies but focuses on BGP.

SNT delivers its first customised Cisco courses

Just two months after achieving certification as a Cisco Sponsored Organisation SNT have successfully delivered their first customised Cisco course. The course took elements from three separate Cisco courses (ICND1, ICND2 and GWGK) and covered only the areas essential for the customer. In particular the course focused on the interworking of the Cisco devices with Asterisk.

Our experience and knowledge of the technical networking training market has been recognised with the acceptance of SNT as a Cisco Sponsored Oraganisation. Working in partnership with Fastlane, SNT will offer the full range of Cisco training courses from CCNA courses through to CCIE level workshops. In addition we intend to use our 10 years of experience in designing our own courses to ensure that we can offer customised Cisco courses which exactly meet customer's requirements. SNT, as do all other providers of authorised Cisco training, will be using Cisco authorised materials and only using instructors who have passed the CCSI certification. We believe that what will set us apart is our ability to provide customised Cisco training with instructors who don't just teach Cisco but also teach a wide range of other networking courses.
