Bitesize learning success By Systems & Network Training 18/7/03

Systems & Network Training Ltd are proud to announce the successful completion of the Bitesize Learning Programme. Three Bitesize sessions were run providing free training to the unemployed and other individuals as part of the Surrey Learning and skills Bitesize learning programme. The courses took place at our training centre on the 14th and 15th July 2003.

The first session introduced the concepts of network cabling with students making and testing their own Cat 5 cables as part of the course. The second session built on the first with the students using their cables to build a simple network of PCs using a hub and then using the ping utility to test the network. In the final session students built their own web server using Apache on Microsoft Windows machines.

The success of the programme means that the same modules are likely to run again. If you are interested in reserving a place on future Bitesize learning sessions please email us at info@snt.co.uk. Please note that these sessions are provided free of charge to participants but do depend on funding from the Learning and skills council.
