Worlds first hands on technical 802.15.4 course By Systems & Network Training Ltd [12/3/2004]
Systems & Network Training are proud to announce two firsts:
  • What we believe to be the first ever 802.15.4 hands on course.
  • Our first course delivery in Japan
The 802.15.4 standard was published on the 1st October 2003. Our 3 day hands on technical course was developed alongside the draft specifications with final modifications to the course made with a pilot delivery in December 2003. The first running of the course was delivered in Japan on the 10th March to 12th March 2004.

As with the majority of our courses, this course concentrates on the technology rather than any specific product. Hands on sessions were used to reinforce the theory - the best way to learn. We worked in partnership with CompXs who provide the hardware and software for the course. Software included PHY and MAC layer packet analysers as well as an interface to issue specific primitives to 802.11.4 PCBs.
