General

Newsgroups
Newsgroups are probably the most under utilised resource of the Internet. Also known as Usenet. Designed to be accessed through a newsreader, also available through the web. Google has a huge searchable archive - just use the groups tab on www.google.com

There are two ways to use newsgroups:

Lurk and just read
or be more proactive and post your own questions.
