Description
The TRNG-0503 course is an in-depth study of network management
using IronView Network Manager as it relates to the Foundry Networks products.
The course focuses mainly on the IronView product. It covers the theory of
operations, configuration, troubleshooting and network analysis using Foundry's
products.

TRNG-0103 Basic Switch/Router Configuration and Management.

IronView Fundamentals and Installation
IronView capabilities, components - server, clients, managers,
installing IronView, configuration.properties file, backing
up and restoring the IronView Network Manager, and database.db,
connecting clients to servers.
Managing Roles
What a role is, implementing IronView roles, creating roles,
creating user accounts.
Discovery
Configuring and enabling discovery, listing discovered devices,
subnets and IP address.
Reports
Viewing reports, device information, using the reports for configuration, exporting reports.
Devices, Ports, Password, and the Tool Bar
Port group trees, updating the database to reflect modified
device configurations, modifying device passwords and community

Configuration and deployment

Searching for MAC and IP Addresses, finding network devices
by IP or MAC address.
ACL Manager
ACL service manager, ACL network manager, rearranging ACL entries, ACL services and groups,

Monitoring Traffic
Configuring sFlow on Foundry devices, IronView data collection, accounting reports format,
accounting information in the accounting summary, accounting details. Port utilization and
top resource users.
Accounting
Setting ports for accounting, accounting statistics, exporting accounting statistics, display of accounting statistics.
